Attenion deficit disorder (ADD)

ADD condition is most common among student whether they are children or adult.  In this condition patient complaints about hyperactivity, concentration problems and learning difficulties, he is unable to follow directions to perform a simple task.
The exact cause of attention deficit disorder  is idiopathic, diagnosis is made on the basis of one's behavior and symptoms. Children with ADD has short attention span and can easily distracted toward useless things, they are very careless and make noticeable mistakes during school work or other activities,  They are unable to make an eye contact when someone is talking to them, they didn't follow the command which is required to perform a task, and even dislike to put their effort to fulfill that particular task. They are also forgetful in their daily activities. They are hyperactive, talk extensively and continuously involved in leisure activities. They are very impulsive often act without thinking, they often give out ans before question completion,  they find it difficult to wait for their turn and often interfere in others matter.
Treatment:
For children suffering from ADD there are many behavior modification techniques in which most important is positive and negative reinforcement behavior modification.
For positive reinforcement, praise child even for his small good deed, for negative reinforcement continuously nag him for the chores he has to do for example if the child is complaining that he don't want to ho school, do something which he didn't like, play music loudly which he dislikes and he will stop complaining and will go to school.
Teacher can also use behavior modification in classroom  to increase child interest. Teacher should praise and reward on their good behavior  as well as if they misbehave punish them by taking away the thing from him which likes most.
So by the co-operation of child's family and his school we can take good care if him and made him a responsible and sensible person of society.
